LONDON – August 6, 2026 – Roy Peires is encouraging hospitality operators to consider the Kind Holidays charitable model as the program reaches more than 2,300 beneficiaries across more than a dozen charitable partners.
The initiative, launched through the IDILIQ Foundation, provides free accommodation to families facing serious illness, bereavement, military-related hardship, and other difficult circumstances. Operating through participating hotels and resorts on the Costa del Sol and in Tenerife, Spain, the program resumed full operations in 2022 following the COVID-19 shutdown period.
Kind Holidays was among the first supporters of Give Us Time, a charity that organizes free accommodation at hotels and resorts for military personnel and their families, when it launched in 2012. In 2016, Roy Peires and the IDILIQ Foundation expanded the initiative to include families caring for seriously ill children, bereavement charities, children’s hospices, and the Carers Trust.
The Kind Holidays initiative is supported by a practical, publicly available guide designed to help other hospitality businesses understand how a similar program can be structured. The guide includes contact information for charitable organizations seeking accommodation in the United Kingdom and abroad. Roy Peires has encouraged broader participation across the hospitality sector, including hotels, airlines, cruise operators, restaurants, and ground transportation providers.
The IDILIQ Foundation charitable work extends across multiple partner organizations on the Costa del Sol and internationally. The foundation funded construction of the F. Cruz Dias-ADIMI Care Centre at a cost of 1.6 million euros. The center currently serves more than 500 people with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
The foundation has also supported organizations including Cudeca, ADIMI, AECC Málaga, Afesol, Fuensocial, and Christel House. Together, these initiatives reflect a long-term philanthropic structure focused on healthcare, disability services, education, family support, and community assistance.
