Award-Winning Technical Analyst Introduces Four Original Measurement Frameworks for GEO and AI Visibility
Paul Truscott, award-winning financial technical analyst and semantic SEO expert, introduces four original GEO and AEO measurement frameworks adapted from technical analysis indicators for AI visibility.

London, UK – September 11, 2026 – Paul David Truscott, a semantic SEO and generative engine optimisation (GEO) practitioner and qualified financial technical analyst, today formally introduces four original measurement frameworks that apply the quantitative tools of financial technical analysis to AI visibility measurement. The frameworks — Citation RSI, Entity Support and Resistance, Visibility Bollinger Bands, and Visibility Drawdown — are the first systematic effort to bring the statistical rigour of market analysis to how brands appear, persist, and fluctuate across AI-generated answers.

Truscott holds Full Membership (MSTA) of the Society of Technical Analysts, the IFTA Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) designation, the Advanced Diploma from the Australian Technical Analysts Association, and the STA Diploma in Technical Analysis with Distinction. He was awarded the Bronwen Wood Memorial Prize in 2011 for outstanding achievement in the STA diploma programme. His training includes mentorship under Trevor Neil and advanced Market Profile methodology under Jim Dalton.

Citation RSI, adapted from the Relative Strength Index, measures the speed and magnitude of change in an entity’s citation frequency to identify when visibility is overextended or undervalued. Entity Support and Resistance identifies the trust floor and citation ceiling a brand holds within AI systems, diagnosing whether the priority is defensive corroboration or a genuine breakout event. Visibility Bollinger Bands use standard deviation bands around a moving average of citation frequency to separate normal fluctuation from statistically significant shifts. Visibility Drawdown quantifies the severity and duration of a visibility decline from peak to trough, applying the same risk-management discipline traders use to keep responses proportionate to the evidence.

Truscott’s extensive knowledge of semantic SEO, developed through years of study under Koray Tugberk Gubur, and his formal qualifications in financial technical analysis position him at the intersection of two fields that share deep structural similarities but have not previously been connected by a practitioner qualified in both.

“Momentum without a measure of whether it is sustainable is not information. It is noise dressed as a trend,” said Truscott. “These frameworks give GEO practitioners the same statistical infrastructure that has helped traders separate signal from noise for decades.”

Full definitions and methodology documentation for all four frameworks are published at paultruscott.com/lexicon.
