UGREEN’s HomeAgent Debut Opens a New AIoT Chapter for the Global Consumer Tech Brand

September 08 04:52 2026

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – 8 September, 2026 – The local-first ecosystem brings storage, on-device AI, home security and supported-device control together as UGREEN expands into a broader smart-living platform

  • UGREEN is making a broader push into the smart-home market with HomeAgent, a new line of local AI hubs designed to bring household storage, security information and control of compatible connected devices into one system.
  • The consumer technology company introduced the HomeAgent Series at its Smart Living Launch Event on Sept. 1 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. UGREEN also unveiled a new MagFlow charging lineup and named New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez its Global Brand Ambassador.
  • For UGREEN, which has built its business around charging, connectivity and network-attached storage products, HomeAgent represents a shift from selling individual devices toward developing a connected platform for the home.

From a Global Product Brand to a Smart-Living Platform

For UGREEN, the AIoT launch represents more than an expansion into another product category. HomeAgent brings together areas that have traditionally been handled separately in the home, including file and media storage, security cameras, voice interaction and smart-device control, around a single local platform. The move builds on UGREEN’s existing experience in consumer electronics and network-attached storage while extending the company further into the smart-home market.

Founded in 2012, UGREEN now serves more than 300 million users across more than 180 countries and regions. With HomeAgent, the company is applying that consumer technology footprint to a market increasingly shaped by questions around privacy, interoperability and how household data is stored and used.

The timing also reflects a broader shift in the smart-home industry. Connected devices have made remote control and automation commonplace, but many households still manage cameras, files and smart devices across separate apps, platforms and cloud services. HomeAgent takes a different approach by bringing more of that data, computing and device coordination into the home itself, with local AI used to interpret supported requests, surface relevant information and coordinate compatible devices.

“The next chapter of the smart home is not simply about connecting more devices. It is about creating a system that can understand, assist, and act while keeping users in control,” said Marshall Mao, Sales Director for North America at UGREEN. “UGREEN HomeAgent brings that intelligence into the home through a local-first architecture designed around privacy, responsiveness, and a more unified experience.”

A Smart-Home Push Built on UGREEN’s Storage Background

HomeAgent starts from an area UGREEN already knows well: storage.

At the center of the system is UGOS Pro, UGREEN’s in-house operating system built on a Linux architecture. The software provides professional storage management, data security, backup and synchronization, as well as broader expandability.

HomeAgent builds on that NAS-grade foundation and extends it into home security, smart-home functions and voice interaction. Files, photos and surveillance footage can be stored locally, while supported AI analysis and smart-home functions can also operate on the home network.

That gives UGREEN a different starting point from companies that entered the smart-home market primarily through cameras, speakers or automation. Rather than beginning with device control and adding storage later, HomeAgent begins with locally managed household data and layers intelligence and connected-device functions on top of it.

The result is a system that brings together five core capabilities: natural-language interaction, local AI and storage, proactive home security, AI-assisted family memories and whole-home control.

From Managing Devices to Understanding the Home

The more interesting part is what that shared foundation allows HomeAgent to do with everyday household data.

Through UGREEN’s Uliya voice assistant, users can control supported smart-home devices and ask for information such as live camera status or past security events. With supported SynCare cameras, local AI can recognize people, vehicles, pets and packages, summarize detected events and help users locate recorded clips through keyword searches.

But HomeAgent is designed to use the same data for more than security. It can also identify meaningful moments from supported family footage and photo libraries, turn them into AI Highlight videos and display them on UGREEN Gallery smart frames.

That changes the role of the system. A camera is not only recording potential security incidents, and storage is not only keeping files. The same locally managed data can help families understand what happened at home, find important information more quickly and preserve moments they may want to revisit later.

Matter and ONVIF support also allow compatible third-party devices to connect to the same ecosystem. Users can create home modes that coordinate multiple supported devices together, reducing the need to control each device separately.

Taken together, HomeAgent is designed to make the smart home feel less like a collection of disconnected products and more like a single system built around the people living in it.

Three Hubs Target Different Levels of Local AI

Within the lineup, the HomeAgent HA100 is positioned for everyday local storage, smart security and essential smart-home control, while the HA100 Pro is aimed at users who want more local AI performance and faster connectivity. The difference is not only in hardware. The Pro model is designed to support deeper voice understanding, voice-based rule creation, more context-aware device control and more advanced recognition, while the HA100 focuses on more straightforward automation and direct command-based interactions. It also increases memory from 16GB to 32GB, AI performance from 26 TOPS to 205 TOPS, and network connectivity from 2.5GbE to 10GbE.

Above both models sits the MasterAgent MA100, which is designed for more demanding local AI workloads. Powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Thor™ T5000, it delivers up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS of local computing performance, giving the system more headroom for larger models, richer context understanding and more complex coordination across devices and tasks.

The wider ecosystem also includes three SynCare security cameras, the Smart Speaker for Uliya and UGREEN Gallery.

UGREEN Ties the Launch to Its Patriots Partnership

By staging the launch at Gillette Stadium, UGREEN connected its AIoT debut with its growing relationship with the New England Patriots. The event combined a theater presentation with home-style product displays, giving attendees a closer look at how the cameras, speaker, frame and central hubs are intended to work in everyday settings.

The launch also advances UGREEN’s relationship with the New England Patriots after the company became the team’s Official Tech Accessory Partner in April. As Global Brand Ambassador, Gonzalez will show how UGREEN’s technology can help families protect their homes, simplify routines and preserve meaningful moments.

“Just like UGREEN, I believe great technology should help people stay prepared, reach their potential, and bring their A-game in the moments that matter most,” Gonzalez said.

During the football season, UGREEN will host product experience booths at four Patriots home games at Gillette Stadium, where fans can try products and enter giveaways. On Dec. 10, the company will host a citywide watch party across multiple Boston-area venues with product demonstrations and on-site purchase opportunities.

MagFlow Brings the Launch Into Everyday Charging

UGREEN also introduced three Qi2 25W MagFlow products designed to make high-power wireless charging cooler, more consistent and more comfortable to use. UGREEN MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W uses CryoPulse™ Technology, with a micro-pump that circulates coolant and a Cyber Window that makes the cooling process visible. A smart display shows charging power, battery level, cycle count and cooling status.

UGREEN MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W combines active cooling and an ultra-quiet 15dB fan while charging an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods together. UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W charges two devices and folds so the charger itself can serve as a magnetic phone stand for travel, bedside or desktop use.
