CAMVER Launches Fleet AI OS, a Predictive Safety Platform That Detects EV Battery Hazards Before They Happen

SEOUL, South Korea – September 4, 2026 – CAMVER Inc. has launched Fleet AI OS, a predictive safety operating system built for electric vehicle (EV) and purpose-built vehicle (PBV) fleets. Unlike conventional fleet-management systems that track location and raise alarms only after an incident occurs, Fleet AI OS identifies hazards — including battery thermal runaway — before they develop into accidents.

The platform addresses a growing risk in the global transition to electric mobility. In South Korea alone, 230 EV fire incidents were recorded between 2019 and 2024, according to the National Fire Agency. Battery thermal runaway can escalate within minutes and resists conventional suppression, leaving drivers, passengers, and surrounding communities little time to react. Fleet operators face increasing legal accountability under strengthening safety regulations, yet lack tools to see risk forming.

Fleet AI OS collects real-time data through a plug-in OBD2 telematics device, onboard environmental sensors, and in-vehicle cameras. Rather than evaluating each sensor independently, CAMVER’s proprietary AI engine interprets synchronized channels as a single behavioral model, learning each vehicle’s normal operating patterns and detecting the subtle deviations that precede failure. All analysis converges into one intuitive 0–100 Fleet Risk Index: automated alerts trigger above 70, and remote vehicle intervention engages above 85.

The engine has achieved 100 percent certified accuracy in fire-anomaly detection, verified by KTCC (Report No. KTCC-R-2025-0169), with a 0.18-second hazard-judgment time, 0.81-second remote-control response at 99.94 percent actuation accuracy, and 99.925 percent platform uptime.

What distinguishes the platform is its data foundation. CAMVER did not begin as a software company — it operated its own fleet. Over six years, the company has run 145 vehicles across 4.5 million accident-free kilometers serving 90,000 users, generating operational data that laboratory datasets cannot reproduce. In commercial pilots, Fleet AI OS reduced safety events by 45 percent, raised fleet utilization by 18 percent, and lowered maintenance costs by 20 percent.

The technology is protected by 13 patents and holds Korea Regulatory Sandbox approval (No. 703) from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. CAMVER currently provides commercial fleet operations for four Hyundai Motor Group affiliates — Hyundai Motor, Kia, Hyundai Engineering, and Hyundai Glovis — and maintains a network of more than 50 partners and clients.
