San Mateo, California, USA — September 03, 2026 — Chayan, known in China as Chayanyuese, made its first-ever U.S. exhibition appearance at the 2026 USA Asian Culture and Food Expo, held August 15–16 at the San Mateo County Event Center.
The two-day event marked an important milestone for Chayan as the brand presented its products in person in the United States for the first time following its U.S. e-commerce launch in July 2025. Throughout the Expo, Chayan connected directly with American consumers, retailers, distributors, and other food-industry professionals while introducing its U.S.-focused retail tea collection.
Introducing Chayan’s Retail Tea Collection to the U.S. Market
Visitors had the opportunity to sample and explore a selection of Chayan’s retail tea products, including its Modern Matcha Concentrate, six-flavor DIY Tea Concentrate Kit Collection, and organic tea bag varieties.
The tea concentrate collection also made its U.S. market debut at the 2026 USA Asian Culture and Food Expo, giving attendees an early look at Chayan’s approach to translating familiar Chinese tea flavors into convenient, ready-to-prepare formats for everyday consumption.
The presentation reflected the brand’s broader approach to New-Style Chinese Tea, combining traditional tea culture with contemporary product development, design, and modern lifestyles.
Building Direct Connections with the U.S. Market
As Chayan’s first U.S. exhibition, the Expo provided the brand with an opportunity to move beyond its online presence and interact directly with consumers and food-industry professionals in the U.S. market.
These in-person conversations gave Chayan additional insight into overseas consumer preferences and the U.S. retail landscape as the brand continues to develop its international business.
The appearance represented a new step in Chayan’s U.S. market journey while creating an opportunity to introduce a modern expression of Chinese tea culture to a broader American audience.
