Atlanta, GA – August 06, 2026 – Plexus Research & Design has confirmed that the Broadland Residence, a three-level single-family home located in suburban Atlanta, is now well under construction. The project comprises 9,000 square feet of conditioned space across three stories and includes extensive living and entertainment areas, five bedrooms, a pool house, a fitness center, and a series of exterior terraces and a pool. The home has been sited on the previously developed portions of a heavily wooded property, a decision made to preserve the existing trees and the natural character of the land. Construction photographs documenting the current phase of work have been released alongside the announcement.
The property is dominated by a steeply sloped, heavily wooded perimeter that wraps a relatively level plateau, which previously held a house, patio and pool. Rather than clear new ground, the design retains portions of the existing patio, pool and pool house, and expands the original patio into a series of terraced outdoor spaces. Those terraces pass through the entertainment and living zone of the house and culminate in a garden that connects to an existing tennis court, making movement through the site a central organizing feature of the plan.
Internally, the home is divided into two volumes that flank the entertainment and living area, joined by a catwalk. The smaller volume holds the owner’s suite, a guest bedroom, and the kitchen, while the larger volume contains the remaining bedrooms, a library, and a fitness room. Living spaces carry soaring ceilings that articulate their connection to the exterior environment, and extensive glazing throughout the interior establishes visual and spatial links to the outdoor living areas.
