Waitlist members receive instant access to 2,000+ free K-12 lessons, and families who sign up during the beta receive 75% off their first 12 months

HOUSTON – More than 500 families, educators, and education leaders have joined the waitlist for Whole Learning ScholarVerse, an interactive Pan-African K-12 learning platform from Whole Living Academy. The founding beta opens in fall 2026.

Everyone who joins the waitlist receives immediate access to the Pan-African Global Open Curriculum, a downloadable collection of more than 2,000 lessons and worksheets for kindergarten through 12th grade created by Nikala Asante, M. Ed. and Swatara Olushola, supported in part by a $50,000 grant from VELA Education. Families who sign up during the beta receive 75% off their first 12 months of ScholarVerse.

“Families began with the free lessons and asked for a space where their children could work through them directly,” said Nikala Asante, M.Ed., founder and executive director of Whole Living Academy. “Educators and school leaders asked for the same support for their programs. ScholarVerse comes from those requests, and the community that asked for it will be the first to use it.”

ScholarVerse brings the curriculum into a self-paced digital environment with guided instruction, quizzes and assessments, educational games, attendance tracking, report cards, transcripts, and dashboards for parents and educators. Lessons span core academic subjects, with African, African American, Caribbean, and global African diaspora history and knowledge integrated throughout.

Homeschool families can use the platform for full-time or supplemental learning; schools, co-ops, microschools, and learning centers can use it for coursework, enrichment, and recordkeeping.

Parents, educators, and education leaders can join the waitlist at PanAfricanCurriculum.com for free curriculum access, beta updates, and beta testing opportunities.

Whole Living Academy is a virtual K-12 school based in Houston that develops African-centered curriculum, educational technology, and learning resources for homeschool families, schools, and community learning programs.
