One Curious Girl's Woodland World Blooms into a Timeless Celebration of Nature
Through Ginny’s artwork and observations, Early Spring in Ginny’s Woods invites readers into a woodland refuge where the arrival of spring reveals something new with every visit

MARIETTA, GA – Some places quietly shape who we become. For Ginny, that place is a patch of woods close to home, where every visit offers a reason to slow down, look a little closer, and discover something that was easy to miss before.

That spirit of quiet discovery fills Early Spring in Ginny’s Woods by Ginny, a thoughtfully illustrated children’s book by Virginia Klute. As winter gives way to the first signs of spring, Ginny shares her writing and artwork, welcoming readers into the woodland refuge she knows so well. One day, it is a trail of delicate footprints pressed into the snow. Another, it is the return of a familiar bird or the first flowers beginning to bloom. Through each observation, she encourages readers to see nature not as scenery, but as a living world filled with stories waiting to be noticed.

Inspired by walks with her father during childhood, Ginny’s reflections are both heartfelt and practical. She introduces readers to brooks, marshes, woods, and meadows while sharing the simple joys of recognizing birds, flowers, ferns, and the many forms of life that thrive in each habitat. Her artwork adds another layer of warmth, allowing readers to experience these moments through the eyes of someone who genuinely treasures the outdoors.

More than a children’s book, Early Spring in Ginny’s Woods is a gentle reminder that curiosity often begins with paying attention. It will resonate with children, families, educators, and anyone who finds comfort in the natural world.

Now available on Amazon, Early Spring in Ginny’s Woods by Ginny invites readers to slow their pace, open their eyes, and rediscover the quiet wonder that has been there all along. Sometimes the most meaningful journeys begin with nothing more than a walk in the woods.
