RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – September 1st, 2026 –<\/strong> The historic Cucamonga Service Station on Route 66 has announced a new promotional partnership with Mt. Baldy Resort and Mt. Baldy Brewing designed to increase awareness of the Station while encouraging visitors to discover more of the attractions surrounding California’s historic Route 66 corridor.<\/p>\n

Under the new relationship, Mt. Baldy Resort and Mt. Baldy Brewing will become Official Promotional Partners of the Cucamonga Service Station<\/strong>, with the organizations working together on cross-promotional opportunities and special activities.<\/p>\n

The partnership brings together three distinctly Southern California destinations with strong ties to the local area. The Cucamonga Service Station is a restored Route 66 landmark in Rancho Cucamonga, while Mt. Baldy Resort provides a mountain destination within easy reach of the historic highway. Mt. Baldy Brewing is located in neighboring Upland, just north of Route 66.<\/p>\n

“The Cucamonga Service Station is part of a much larger story that includes Route 66, our local communities and the many attractions surrounding us,” said Keith Hunt, Board Member of the Cucamonga Service Station<\/strong>. “Developing promotional partnerships gives us an opportunity to introduce the Station to new audiences while also helping our visitors discover more of what this area has to offer.”<\/p>\n

The partnership reflects an expanding effort by the Cucamonga Service Station to work collaboratively with local attractions, businesses and organizations as the historic landmark enters a particularly significant period for Route 66.<\/p>\n

“Mt. Baldy Resort is pleased to support the Cucamonga Service Station and the work being done to preserve an important piece of our local history,” said Ron Ellingson, Spokesperson for Mt. Baldy Resort<\/strong>. “Route 66 and Mt. Baldy are both part of the history and character of this area, and we’re pleased to have an opportunity to help introduce more people to the Station.”<\/p>\n

The first public promotion resulting from the new partnership will take place in September and will feature complimentary Mt. Baldy Scenic Ride Lift Tickets<\/strong> provided to the Cucamonga Service Station by Mt. Baldy Resort.<\/p>\n

Additional details about the Scenic Ride promotion will be announced separately.<\/p>\n

“Partnerships like this can benefit everyone involved,” Hunt added. “They give people another reason to visit the Cucamonga Service Station, while allowing us to introduce our visitors to other experiences and destinations in the area. We hope this is the beginning of a relationship that will continue to grow.”<\/p>\n

The Cucamonga Service Station is operated by volunteers and supported by donations. Located along historic Route 66 in Rancho Cucamonga, the restored service station preserves an important part of the community’s automotive and Route 66 heritage.<\/p>\n
