LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – AUGUST 22, 2026 –<\/strong> Kimberly Haynes, an acclaimed singer, songwriter and musical artist whose work has been associated with New Age and world music, releases her new genre-crossing vocal album, Into The Light, a cinematic and orchestral, cohesive collection of songs. It’s a journey of love through 8 gorgeous tracks. Seven years in the making, the deeply personal and poignant album transforms profound loss into a universal story of devotion, release, and the courage to keep living.<\/p>\n

Born from some of the most profound years of Haynes’ life, Into The Light is an intimate exploration of anticipatory grief, devotion, loss, transcendence, and the extraordinary process of learning to live again when the life you knew has changed forever.<\/p>\n

However, Haynes says, “This is not a grief record. It is a record of what happens when you learn to carry grief — and life requires you to keep moving forward.”<\/p>\n

At the heart of Into The Light is Haynes’ late husband, Brian. His presence is woven into the album in a way that is both deeply personal and profoundly moving. As well, his voice appears on the recording, on track 3, “I Am My Prayer,” and the opening lines of the title track were born during his final days.<\/p>\n

Rather than documenting grief in a linear or conventional way, Haynes creates a musical “cycle” that moves through the many dimensions of profound loss — from peace and surrender, through fear and devotion, to the intimate experience of caring for someone through illness and at the end of life, to the moment of letting go, and to the quiet, profound realization that life continues. Love does not disappear with death.<\/p>\n
