\u201cBeyond Reality\u201d, a solo photography exhibition by Bay Area-based Chinese visual artist Shun Tang, concluded on August 5, 2026, at the Silicon Valley Asian Art Center in Santa Clara, California. Presented from July 25 to August 5, the exhibition showcased Tang’s recent works exploring the intersection of Chinese cultural traditions, contemporary photography, digital visual language, and personal memory, offering audiences a thoughtful perspective on identity and visual storytelling.<\/div>\n

The works presented in Beyond Reality combined staged photography with digital visual techniques, transforming familiar cultural references into contemporary visual narratives. In 2026, Tang was selected for an artist residency at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley and presented Invisible Systems, another solo exhibition, at San Francisco State University.
