Harmonica Retreat, one of Colombia’s most reviewed ayahuasca retreat centers, has opened a new ceremonial home near Medell\u00edn. Custom-built by founder Oliver Glozik and his fianc\u00e9e Luna, the site features a 150m\u00b2 maloka, five private ensuite rooms, and direct access to a natural reserve and waterfall. The center hosted its inaugural retreat July 2\u20135, 2026, with guests praising the depth of care and setting.<\/div>\n

Medellín, Colombia – July 17th, 2026 –<\/strong> Harmonica Retreat<\/a>, a Colombia-based ayahuasca retreat center known for its safe, intimate, and medically supervised ceremonies, has completed its move to a newly built home just north of its original site in Vereda Curazao. The property — the last house on the road, bordered by a 10-meter waterfall and a natural reserve — has been custom-built over the past year to serve as a permanent, purpose-designed space for transformational plant medicine work.<\/p>\n

For more than four years, Harmonica Retreat has hosted retreats in Vereda Curazao, building a reputation across review platforms and word of mouth for combining traditional Kamsá Biyá ceremonial practice with medical oversight. Last year, founder Oliver Glozik acquired the new property and began designing it from the ground up with his fiancée, Luna, specifically for the needs of ayahuasca retreat work — rather than adapting an existing structure, as many centers do.<\/p>\n

The new site includes:<\/p>\n

• A ceremonial maloka of over 150 m²<\/p>\n

• Five private rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom<\/p>\n

• Two shared accommodations (max. four guests each), also with ensuite bathrooms<\/p>\n

• Over 110 m² of shared deck space<\/p>\n

• Direct border access to a private natural reserve and waterfall<\/p>\n

• More than 1,000 new plantings across the grounds, with the garden still maturing<\/p>\n

“Every detail of this place was designed around the ceremony itself — how people move through the space, where they rest, where they integrate,” said Oliver Glozik, founder of Harmonica Retreat. “At sunset the fireflies come out reminding us of the magic of nature.”<\/p>\n

Harmonica hosted its first retreat at the new site from July 2 to 5, 2026, welcoming a small group of participants for the property’s inaugural ceremony cycle. Guests described the new location as an immediate extension of Harmonica’s reputation for care and depth.<\/p>\n

“The retreat site is a home away from home, a break from the constant demands modern society places on our minds,” wrote guest Abigail. “Together with the staff here, they have created an oasis where you can come to reflect and grow… I felt safe and nurtured in both my body and soul.”<\/p>\n

Fellow guest Alice, who stayed for the three-and-a-half-day program, echoed the sentiment: “The professionalism and care the entire team possess is truly a beautiful thing… In moments of doubt I felt extremely supported and empowered. Harmonica plans to continue expanding the property in phases, with a sauna and cold-plunge area and additional meditation spaces already in development.<\/p>\n
