Every practice in the directory carries a verification badge based on four criteria. A listed practice must be privately owned and operated by a dentist rather than a corporation, hold a strong patient reputation with high ratings, maintain an established presence in its community, and have clean professional standing with no active disciplinary actions or license restrictions.<\/p>\n

“Patients tell us they want to know who actually owns the practice they walk into, and that information is not always easy to find,” said Serena Suggs, Executive Director of Dentistry Select. “We verify each listing against the same set of standards so people can search their city and see independent practices in one place, then reach out to the one that fits.”<\/p>\n

The directory follows a three-step process. Patients search by location to find listings, review and compare the practices that appear, then contact the offices directly. Dentistry Select does not refer patients or take part in scheduling, leaving the choice of provider entirely with the patient.<\/p>\n

Independent ownership has become a more prominent topic across the dental field as DSOs expand their share of the market.
