Under the regulation, agricultural products imported into the EU, including coffee, must prove they are not linked to deforestation activities after December 31, 2020.<\/p>\n Industry experts believe these requirements will create significant challenges for farming regions that still rely heavily on smallholder production models and traditional manual record-keeping practices.<\/p>\n Gia Lai Selected as a Strategic Development Area<\/p>\n Driven by the ambition to digitize agriculture, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long, Founder and CEO of FarmBlock, spent significant time conducting field research before selecting Chu Puh district in Gia Lai as one of the company’s strategic deployment areas.
