ACE Building Materials, a family-owned LA supplier serving the area since 1950, will host a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting at its new Pacific Palisades Rebuild Support Yard (15401 W. Sunset Blvd.) on Thursday, June 18. The yard stocks lumber, CMU block, rebar, aggregates, and cement to help homeowners and contractors rebuild after the 2025 wildfires. Guests include Councilwoman Traci Park, LAFD Station 69, the Malibu/Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce (PaliBu), and the PPCC.

Sunset Blvd., Pacific Palisades, CA (former Shell Gas Station at Via de la Paz & Sunset).

The event, open to all neighbors, contractors, and community members, marks a major milestone in the company’s commitment to the ongoing rebuilding of Pacific Palisades following the devastating 2025 wildfires that destroyed more than 6,800 homes and structures across the community.

DISTINGUISHED GUESTS & SPEAKERS

The ribbon cutting will be hosted by Jessica Zakarya of ACE Building Materials, and attended by prominent civic, business, and community leaders who have championed the Palisades recovery effort:

  • Councilwoman Traci Park (Los Angeles City Council, 11th District) — whose office has led on Palisades recovery legislation, debris removal coordination, and community rebuilding advocacy.
  • Maryam Zar, Malibu/Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce (PaliBu) — delivering a short welcome address on behalf of the Chamber, which ACE recently joined.
  • Allison Holdorff, Incoming President, Pacific Palisades Community Council (PPCC) — the volunteer-led nonprofit that has been the voice of the Palisades since 1973.
  • Los Angeles Fire Department Station 69 — the local LAFD company serving Pacific Palisades.

ACE Building Materials established its Palisades Rebuild Support Yard at 15401 W. Sunset Blvd. specifically to reduce that burden. The yard stocks the raw materials most needed at the foundation stages of home reconstruction:

The facility operates Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with Saturday delivery service available by prior arrangement.
