High-end rental cars have long been hard to find in Lapland, which is a gap LuxCar is now filling. Its fleet is built around premium car brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Porsche and others to suit the most discerning travellers and to handle Lapland’s conditions all year round.
Guests can rent a car to drive themselves or be driven by a professional chauffeur. Every car is brought to the guest in person, wherever they are in Lapland, whether at an airport, a railway station, a hotel or resort, or a private villa. Delivery reaches every airport in the region, among them Rovaniemi, Kittilä, Ivalo and Kuusamo.

The self-drive rental
LuxCar’s rental is open to any traveller. For example, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, S-Class and V-Class can be hired self-drive, each prepared for any season during the year and handed over in person where the guest lands. Each rental includes 24/7 support from a local team that is ready to serve and assist with any needs or problems during the stay.
Bookings can be made directly for the fleet published on LuxCar’s website, and anything beyond it, for example, sports cars, may be arranged on request. Options include passenger cars or premium vans if there is a need for a larger group. All cars available exclusively for the Chauffeur service are marked separately.
The Chauffeur service, with Divánta
For guests who would rather be driven, LuxCar offers a private chauffeur service with professional drivers who know every road in the North. Two cars are kept available for driven journeys: the flagship Mercedes-Maybach GLS, with its quiet rear lounge, and the matte-wrapped Land Rover Defender for the most remote roads.
The chauffeur service is run as part of Divánta, the concierge house of Finnish Lapland, so a driven journey can be composed alongside private villas, experiences and everything else a stay in the North requires.
