Leading Global Cloud Infrastructure and Solutions

Globally Renowned Titles Use Tencent Cloud for Global Expansion

Taking advantage of global interconnection, advanced security protection and leading data access technologies, Tencent Cloud guarantees high-quality user experiences in all gaming scenarios. At present, Tencent Cloud has 49 availability zones — each with high-speed interconnection offering 4T-protected bandwidth — that operate across 25 geographic regions globally. High-speed interconnectivity among the available zones has achieved a regional coverage delay of less than 60ms, and with a latency of less than 120ms between Shanghai and Silicon Valley. Customers adopting a hybrid cloud can easily access 8 major data centers through CloudExchange. In addition, Tencent Cloud provides high-standard security with its 4T+ DDoS protection that supports local access.

At Tencent’s G-STAR exhibition booth, Tencent Cloud demonstrated a number of hands-on interactive experiences, such as the cutting-edge technology of Cloud Gaming and immersive 3D audio effect of Game Multimedia Engine, highlighting Tencent Cloud’s real-time voice service.

With abundant self-innovated technology accumulated by Tencent’s massive R&D and operation in the game sector, Tencent Cloud has, in recent years, participated in sharing these products and services with the industry, such as Game Multimedia Engine, Aegis Anti-DDoS Protection and WeTest, which cover the entire life cycle of a game.

Furthermore, Tencent Cloud also seamlessly interfaces with QQ, WeChat, WeGame and Tencent App Store (Yingyongbao) and other digital platforms of Tencent, providing multiple channel-based promotional resources for game companies lunching and expanding business in China.

Supporting Global Expansion of Game Companies

Leveraging its leading global cloud infrastructure, Tencent Cloud helps game companies across the world deploy games globally.

PUBG Mobile is an original PUBG mobile game authorized by PUBG Corp., developed by Lightspeed & Quantum Studios Group and PUBG Corp., and jointly launched by Tencent and PUBG Corp. It topped the mobile game charts in 105 countries and regions one week after global beta launch. It exceeded 100 million downloads and 20 million global daily active users (excluding China, Japan and South Korea).

Tencent Cloud operates dozens of availability zones, covering five continents and enabling games to be deployed effortlessly. Players are able to access the nearest location secured with Tencent Aegis Anti-DDoS protection. Meanwhile, high-speed and stable Data Center Interconnection ensures efficient communication between regional servers. For players further away from the server, they can access Tencent Cloud POP nodes nearby (public network), by which traffic will be transferred to the game service (intranet) in Tencent Cloud data center through high-speed network connectivity, accelerating connection between players and the game server, providing a fair and smooth gaming experience for global players.

As the first cloud service provider in China to be certified by the European Cloud Alliance, Tencent Cloud provides comprehensive global infrastructure, superb network optimization, top-level security protection and a full range of service interfaces. Moving ahead, Tencent Cloud aims to cooperate with its customers and partners in expanding their business globally.
